João Ferreira Annes d'Almeida, or simply João Ferreira de Almeida (Torre de Tavares, Portugal, 1628 - Batavia, Indonesia, 1691) was a preacher minister of the Dutch Reformed Church in the East Indies, especially recognized for being the first translate the Holy Bible into Portuguese. His translation of the New Testament was first published in 1681 in Amsterdam. Almeida died before concluding the translation of the books of the Old Testament, arriving at the final verses of the Book of Ezekiel. The translation of the other books of the Old Testament was completed in 1694, by Jacobus op den Akker, also minister of the Reformed Church in Batavia. The volumes of the Old Testament translation in Portuguese were only published as of the 18th century, in Tranquebar and Batávia.
